Pastor Stephanie Leleux

What a glorious day to be alive! As part of the Church, I am rejoicing because Jesus is
    coming soon.

Our ministry vision here at GCWC is to mature the saints so they can be busy doing the
work of the ministry. There are so many hurting people who still need Jesus. There are so
many Christians who need the message of victory, through faith in the Word of God. Jesus
has made the way for us to live a successful, victorious life. We are invited to live in
abundance, joy and peace. What a wonderful life is this!!! It is a blessing to know and share
    the love of Jesus.

As Worship Minister I enjoy leading people into the presence of God.  What an awesome
thing it is to be in the presence of the Lord!  One must experience it to know it is like.  I am
so blessed when the miraculous begins to flow to the people, when healing and blessing
touch the people because of the presence of the Holy Spirit.

As Associate Pastor, wife and mother, I lead a full life and a good one. I also oversee the
counseling curriculum for Life Christian University Extension Campus New Iberia, as well
as maintain a private Christian clinical counseling schedule.

Ken and I have been in full time ministry since 1983.  I was formerly a social worker with the State of Louisiana.) After several years of
studying the Word and learning its life applications, I was directed by the Lord to pursue further education in counseling. I had previously
received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from ULL (formerly USL) in 1972.

After receiving my training through the National Christian Counselors Association, I  received a Master’s Degree in Clinical
Christian Counseling. Kenneth and I became licensed Clinical Christian Counselors in 1994. Since then, I have been privileged to complete
the course work for a Doctorate Degree from Life Christian University in Tampa, Florida.

I have completed studies with the American Christian Counselor’s Association, with whom I hold active membership. I also hold active
membership with the Sarasota Academy of Christian Counselors and the National Christian Counselors Association. Ken and I have
trained many people in Creation Therapy and Temperament Profiles. Under the direction of Drs. Richard and Phyllis Arno, we are an
    International Representative for SACC.

On a personal note, my first ministry, and one I prize highly, is to my husband and our son, Joel, who is 13 years old. Joel is a gifted
young man, called of the Lord. Joel is our youth band drummer. He is such a blessing to our lives. Joel is being trained for the ministry,
along with all of the young people in our church.  This may well be the most important mission that we have today, preparing the church
    of the next generation.

Ken and I also have 2 wonderful older sons, Brian and Marcus, who are married to 2 wonderful gals, Michelle and Denise, respectively.
We have 3 wonderful grandchildren. Ken and I know that we are to be a witness of the love of Jesus to all of our family.  We do this as
    best we can!

We would love to have you join us at any service or contact us if we can assist you in any way through prayer or counseling. God bless!
